Isolation- it’s a tool of the Devil to make our trains of thought and streams of consciousness our best friends. Demons infiltrate these streams of consciousness, stemming them off into the trivial and confused realms of the mind. Being distracted with our internal contemplation helps us lose touch with all sense of accountability. We become experts and professionals in the justification process. We can justify our “need” or want for anything by comparing ourselves to a spiritual infant, or highlighting the minute degree to which we intend to act out a sin, or trying to tune out the voice of reason singing so beautifully inside of us. Who holds us accountable when the only voices we can hear is the demons trying to damn us to an eternity in fire and brimstone and a disturbed version of our own consciousness; being massaged and pupettered by those very demons? They lay hidden. Not becuase the demons are hidding themselves, but because we our hiding behind our own ignorance. For example, sudden explosions of anger stem from a catalyst and our subsequent reaction to them seem instantaneous. The catalyst, in many instances is the action of another person. Why did that person do what they did? It very well might have been the intermingling of several devils trying to assist one of his fellow peers.
